We continue to lose aircraft lines.. 45 now expected september, that's with two rescue lines from other carriers.. we get some Canada flying but plan to lose it...

Vp of flight ops spun the mass attrition as a positive.. and said it's a temporary spike.

FLICA is amazing.. their words

otherwise no other news other than a flow of 6 is starting and expected to continue.

Yikes. Yeah SK is a slime ball that sits high and mighty at his office job while the bottom line suffer. Another old timer in management that does nothing for his pilot group to improve their QOL. That update was nothing positive other than basically telling pilots that AA is hiring again and to try and get in outside the flow or otherwise sit back, shut up, deal with piedmont being crap and wait for your flow. Oh yeah, and the airline (flight department) is shrinking and no works rules are improving and we are not going to spend any more money than we have to. Thank you for all that you do. Oh and we just care about our performance numbers, not our employee.

Is the Company ever going to tell us who is selected to flow? In the past we always got an email from the union and the company right after the deadline on who was set to flow in the next class…crickets

Do they do that 30 or 60 days out? Since the class is late September, we may not get that until on or about August 21st.

The deadline to check yes or no for that class was a few days ago. In the past an email was sent out within hours of that, it’s about the only way others have to estimate their flow dates.

I believe it was the union that sent an email with the names of those selected not the company.

Correct, it was a PDTMEC fast read. An example email was written Oct 4th announcing/congratulating those on the Nov 19 flow.
Or an Aug 23 notice of the Oct 8th flow class.

The feedback was a great email that let us know who was leaving and where they went. Who was flowing and short paragraphs of stuff we should know.

Now it’s gone. We’re in the dark
