Medical Certificate Replacement

Doing the laundry today and upon opening the washing machine today discovered that I had pulled a dork move and left my wallet in a pair of pants. Of course my medical cert was utterly destroyed so I hit the FAA's website to get a temp letter of authorization (very quick and easy if you ever need to do that, by the way)and I fired off the paperwork to OKC to get a duplicate mailed to me.

My question is to anyone else who has had to do this, how long does it take the feds to get you a duplicate certificate mailed to you once you request it? I have an interview in a few weeks and don't want to take the temp, in fact I am not even sure the company I am interviewing would take it. I realize I could just go take another physical if I really needed to, but I am having a hard time finding an AME on short notice and juggling my schedule arround the interview. Advice?
