Change of address for medical certificate?

Hi everyone, hope this is in the right thread.

I Currently am a student pilot and received my first class medical back in July and had my old address put on it. My student license, IACRA, and drivers license has my current address on it. I Was wondering if the address on my current medical needed to be changed. My checkride is coming up and i want to have all the paperwork in order for the DPE. I couldn’t find any information on the FAA website pertaining to this, so i came here.
Thanks, Dylan

I'm nearly certain that your address does not have to be current on any FAA certificate. Never heard of a rule on that. Don't worry about it.

Having just moved myself, all you need to do is to update your address online with the FAA. If you so desire to get new certificates with your new address you can pay the FAA for that. Your medical can be updated when you go for your next checkup.

You are fine. Whenever you get a new medical, your address details are updated in the system. As an example, I have an old address on my pilot certificate since the day it was issued, and my medical has the most current address. When you update IACRA or your medical, it takes care of it. Having different addresses should be a non-issue.
