AME in Pittsburgh

Any recommendations on a good AME in PIT, preferably near Wexford? Just moved and left a great one in Dallas/Roanoke.

Dr. Heck with Genesis Medical is a good AME. Very affordable (~$75) and easy going. I have been using him for years. Always in and out with no problem. He is located in Troy Hill. Only potential drawback that I can think of is that he isn't really a young guy and don't know how much longer he'll be practicing.

Dr. Lambrou with Center for Aviation Medicine is another option. He is located near the airport. He is an expert in helping airmen with any kind of medical issues. He knows how to navigate the onerous FAA procedures and I've heard he is worth every penny to people with special circumstances. However, you will pay for his expertise to the tune of $250-$300 for a basic class 1 medical. I guess the benefit is if you go to him regularly and develop a problem down the road he will already be familiar with you and able to help.

Doctor L. Polinski, been going to him for years. He and Dr. Heck had a practice together, both good folks.

I've been going to Dr. Lambrou since I started flying. He helped me get a special issuance in the beginning, and I was able to hold a 1st class within 2 years from that time. It was a pain, expensive and 100% worth it. Smart guy. I know he's helped others get through DUIs and addiction issues.
