Evaluation question

The FAA is requiring me to get an alcohol evaluation done by a psychologist or counselor that is familiar with Part 67 Aviation Standards. I’m having a hard time finding one. I’ve talked to my AME and called the FAA and neither could give me much help. Was wondering if you guys knew of anyone around the Baton Rouge or Memphis area?

I would suggest contacting AOPA Medical or AMAS (the company ALPA uses). They would likely be more help. Good luck

Though he's not in your area, Dr. Bruce Chien may be able to help you. He's presently saturated, but does a lot of referral and may be able to point you to a good match.
