Default Mayo Clinic Pro-Pilot Screening - anyone?

There's such a paradox when it comes to piloting and one's health. We know to fly we have to be healthy yet we are so afraid to "look under the hood" so to speak. Though we know our health is the most important thing, we are hesitant to get those labs done, or get that MRI, or see the doc about that [insert ailment here].

At present, I'm in fairly good health, but as I get older and am looking towards the more lucrative phase of this career, I really am becoming more health aware. I'm considering trying Mayo's Pro Pilot preventative screening program. I guess it's a one-stop-shopping type of thing and if they do find something, they address it and work closely with the FAA to get the certification back.

Does anyone have any experience or stories or recommendations for the program or have any experience working with Mayo Clinic?

Happy New Year folks.

Hi,

I go to the Mayo Clinic for regular prostate checks , every year, since I have a brother who was diagnosed with prostate cancer.

Cheers!
