You want the FAA to give you a refund?

Are you able to dress yourself or perform basic life functions?

I said nothing about the good doctor having retired out of choice. The only person to say any such thing in this thread is YOU.

I was the first person in this thread to note, however, that he had retired, and also provided a link.

Grow up.

A gentleman/lady mentioned earlier the concept of a refund, however, you found it very convenient to reply to me first..hmm..wonder why? Nothing to do with me living in the East, does it?

Since you had no positive constructive feedback to give, you should have said nothing instead of causing embarrassment to yourself.

I can't believe a "grown" man is showing such unreasonable conduct and immature behaviour.

Again, feeling sorry for your comprehensive abilities.

Anyone with useful information please do let us know.

I'm not in the least bit embarrassed, brightspark.

You're not doing so well with your first couple of posts, though.

You nailed it on the head. I lay in wait for anyone posting from the middle east, and you guessed it: it's my personal prejudice and hatred for anyone from the sandbox. How did you know?

Good luck with that refund. See if the FAA will validate parking for you, too. Possibly send you a souvenir bear. Or a tea cup. Or a camel.

And stop talking like he retired out of choice. If you haven't read the letter then I suggest you keep to yourself before making a fool of yourself. However, if you have then I feel even more sorry for your comprehensive capabilities.
I agree with JB. I think you’ll find most RATIONAL people will.

The FAA collected no money from you and they aren’t going to give any back. You can write the guy a letter requesting a refund but pursuing a legal case on a different continent over a $100 physical is a fool’s errand. Expecting the federal government to make you whole is even more irrational.

Yeah that's the long and short of it.

Live your life with the mindset that if you cross the road and get run over by a drunk driver, it is your fault for not looking both ways and watching out for yourself. Always take responsibility for your actions. If you on the other hand blame the driver, then you will lead a different life, a more reactionary one. Often in life, right or wrong along with morality and righteousness are left by the wayside. Of course the driver is morally, ethically, and criminally at fault, but we only live once and it is your job to look out for yourself, don’t depend on others, don’t rely on institutions to take care of you, don’t always believe that people will do the right thing.

Or as my old driver's education teacher once said, "You never HAVE the right of way, the other guy must YIELD you the right of way. If he DOESN'T yield it, trust me, you don't HAVE it."

Now because I live in the Middle-East region, the letter took around a month to arrive and so I have about a month to complete that examination.
If mail is too slow, call or FAX the regional flight surgeon for assistance:
