I’ve said something similar in a thread about depression.
If your anxiety/depression was caused by a life altering event such as the death of a parent (while being a child/teenager) then it’s completely normal you’ve gone through that phase you’ve probably grown out of it by now.
Anything without a direct cause is obviously highly suspect of insidious mental issues.
Problem with this country is that the solution to everything is medication.
30 min of TV commercials:
Can’t sleep - medicate
Low energy - medicate
High energy - medicate
Runny nose - medicate
Dry nose - medicate
Can’t take a dump - medicate
Take all day dumps - medicate
Scared of scary stuff - medicate
Medication not working? We have medication to get your medication to work...

You guys, I'm a Millennial........and you are beginning to trigger me

In all seriousness I agree; this Generation is upset by nearly everything......and if you are that tender; please don't show up in my cockpit. Just saying'

So what's a guy to do? Women want us tender and sensitive or not!? Or is it a sliding scale between 1 and 10 based on the circumstances?

From the Harrison Ford Anne Heche movie, Six Days, Seven Nights:

Robin Monroe: I am so scared.
Quinn Harris: If it makes you feel any better, I'm a little scared myself.
Robin Monroe: Uh, no. No, that does not make me feel better.
Quinn Harris: I thought that's what women wanted.
Robin Monroe: What?
Quinn Harris: Men who weren't afraid to cry, who were in touch with their feminine side.
Robin Monroe: No, not when they're being chased by pirates, they like 'em mean and armed!

FAA Looking at VA Records (Indictments!)

Better to do another career than to do federal prison.
FAA violations rarely result in criminal action. Generally suspension at most, occasionally revocation.

In this case, most likely irrelevant. Seeking counseling with a therapist isn't necessarily the same thing as having counseled with a doctor, and does not necessarily constitute a diagnosis.

Reporting it may certainly have been a mistake.

Lying on the form is a federal felony. The FAA probably won't go there for minor, inconsequential, perhaps unintentional omissions.

But they've clearly demonstrated that they will pull out all legal stops for those who knowingly conceal serious, disqualifying conditions. Mental health falls into that category. I suspect it would be worse to conceal an active condition, as opposed to one in the past which had been treated and was no longer an issue.

I like my men armed; but not "mean." I would never have married a bearded, unicycle riding, cold brew drinking, limp d!cked Millennial. My better half is a true man's man and I am happy that's the case.

The matter becomes irrelevant if one isn't lying.

If one is seeing a "therapist," this does not mean one has been clinically diagnosed by a competent authority. One can see any number of counselors or therapists who do not necessarily have the legal authority to make a formal diagnosis.

The medexpress form asks " HAVE YOU EVER IN YOUR LIFE BEEN DIAGNOSED WITH, HAD, OR DO YOU PRESENTLY HAVE ANY OF THE FOLLOWING? "

"Mental disorders of any sort: depression, anxiety, etc."

I submit that most all of us are "anxious" at some time. A clinical diagnosis of anxiety disorders is another matter. Unless one has a formal diagnosis, one is assuming that role and authority if one self-diagnoses and then reports a condition based on that self-diagnosis. In other words, don't report it if you haven't been diagnosed with it.
