I just saw a chart that compares the total costs of types of meat. The two outliers, those requiring WAY more resources, were Lamb and Beef. Lamb is actually more resource intensive than beef. Eggs were a great source of protein with relatively low resources needed for production.

I have been cutting back on my meat intake. At home, all of our red meat is locally produced.
