They probably cannot legally do that. The days of (US) airlines having their own medical/physical standards above the FAA requirements are long gone.
Plus they don't WANT you to not get the vaccine.
Plus foriegn countries are going to require it for inbound aliens anyway.

Yep, ask forgiveness and take the time off for quarantine, etc. Once you took the vaccine, they cannot very well undo it, now can they?

Wow. Maybe they're thinking if a vaccinated pilots turns into a zombie and crashes a plane, they can cliam plausible deniability because they told you not to?
More likely they didn't get the latest update from the FAA (FAA initially said that the EUA vaccines were not approved, but quickly changed their tune.
