After accidentally misplacing a medical I got asked to provide additional information related to something I had a worksheet for. While this was for a second class, I had over a 4 month wait and ultimately didn't receive it until I asked AOPA Medical for help. They got it in literally a day. The document they needed really wasn't controversial or a big deal in any sort. I think you are literally at the bottom unless you have someone to ask on your behalf.

The date my AME gave me my medical. That paperwork gets sent down to OKC. That medical was signed by OKC Doc.

I checked the registry regularly. At one point the information changed to reflect the new medical validity but when I called CAMI in OKC and my AME they did not have the approval. So it was a bit puzzling that the FAA Airman Registry updated my medical but the folks issuing it had not done so in their system?
