Default Contact Lenses

I’m about to make the switch from glasses back to contacts after a 20+ year hiatus. I was curious, is anyone here on a long range fleet with augmented ops that wear contacts? I know it’s not good to sleep in them, what do you do for your sleep breaks? Take them out? I could see it being a little tricky trying to put them in and take them out in an airplane.

I nap in mine on the 350. Just carry some rewetting drops with you.

I put in a fresh pair of one day disposable lenses in after the cockpit setup. Takes 30 seconds. I’m on a short range fleet, so no advice on sleeping in them. However, I’ll never go back to the 2 week lenses.

I can second the daily disposable ones. I'll never go back!
