Anyone have an idea what an average or ballpark special issuance case file fee is?

also, how long does Oklahoma City need on average to decide?

cost depends on the condition, treatment and your insurance. Timeline figure 8-12 weeks.

I sat around for 2+ years waiting for these snapper heads to basically do nothing, other than take my money.

As soon as I switched to AOPA, I had my medical in my hands in less than 2 weeks.

Left seat seems to have a not-so-great reputation, anecdotally.

There's also AMAS, which is the service that ALPA contracts to. AOPA should be good too.
