NYC/Westchester/NJ/Long Island AME

Moved to the East Coast and looking for a new AME. I have looked at some older posts and found a couple of leads but just wanted to get the most up to date info. Ideally looking for docs that make it easy to communicate with them if you have issues pop up. So far i have heard that these docs are pretty good and pilot friendly:

1. Dr Basri
2. Dr Sheren
3. Dr Panzer

Any updates or recommendations are appreciated!

Dr Howard Katz in Colts Neck, NJ. Good person, competent doctor, and knows how to communicate with the FAA should any issues arise.

I'll second this recommendation. He's a bit too far away for me now, but I've used him a half dozen times over the years and he's great.

I ended up going to Dr. Lorne Sheren at Somerset Airport in NJ. Definitely a good AME for airline people. Told me 85 percent of his clients were professional pilots. Super, super low threat. He is on our side for sure.
