One hopes you are not advocating magic mushrooms for pilots.

In light of recent events, you may find that an uphill battle.

Given the reality of rare-ish, but potentially severe, reactions to psychedelics any such protocol would involve looooong wait and evaluate times. If ever.

When ketamine is used with depression, usually there is an antidepressant prescribed, afterwards. And that Ketamine is being used suggests treatment resistance. Both those issues would complicate and delay matters. Not necassarily a no-go but certainly a red flag to the FAA.

Mushrooms would be even a larger issue as they have not been approved for use by the FDA or DEA. Some states allow their use but not the Fed. Would be Denied or probably end up in HIMS for substance use.
