Have a fellow DAL retiree who has started a list of deceased DAL pilots. So far he has collected statistics on 950+. The average age at death was 60.35 years. Kind of scary !! Wonder what it is for accountants?

HSLD (and anybody else),

If you like the GU, try clif bites. They are chewables that are akin to a soft licorice consitency. I've tried a couple flavors and they're pretty tasty. Basically about the same nutritional content of two packs of gu or clifshot.

I like the Atkins peanut butter granola bars. They're sugar free and relatively low in saturated fat. They also don't melt in the heat. A little pricey though, as are most of the sugar free bars.
