If anyone's still looking for an AME in the San Diego area, there is Dr. Camarata in Chula Vista.

Only $50 (cash/check only) for Class 1, 2, 3. No EKG. He only does them Tue and Thur mornings at 0830. (619) 691-1399.

Good experience overall, only took about 15-20 minutes.

i used larry marshall in lakeside after i couldn't get on with Z before he retired.

EKG took a while as they still use an old-school modem to send the results to OKC

office girls are friendly and he's an active pilot, so we talked shop after i got done singing Moon River.

can't remember the price as the company picks up the tab, but i had no issues with him.

relatively young, so it seems he'll be around for a while

I 2nd Kieth on Dr. Marshall in Lakeside. It's worth the trip.
At least they've upgraded their modem-based EKG machine....
