glasses or contact lenses for my medical exam

Should I wear glasses or contact lenses for my medical exam (1st class). I need glasses or contacts for far vision.

Thanks,

For my medicals I wear my contacts just because most of the time I wear my contacts when I fly. It shouldn't really matter because on your medical it will say "Holder Must Wear Corrective Lenses" if you wear glasses or contacts. It will be wise however to have your pair of glasses with you when you fly, I even believe it's regulatory if you wear contacts. If you want to wear your glasses that's fine also, it won't matter during the physical.

I'd go with glasses for ease of use. They have to test you uncorrected and corrected, seems like a hassle to have to remove and insert your contacts several times during the eye test.

Ditto glasses. Contacts can change the shape of your cornea and make your eyes water, not mention the irritation of removing/installing them. Take the contacts off the night before and leave them off until the medical is done.
