FAA suspends Dr. John Dudek's AME
 

If anyone knows or cares about this they need to call the LAS FSDO and OKC and complain about the firing of Dr. John Dudek. :eek: He is one of the best FAA AME's around. If you are a patient or have a friend who goes to him, then call them yourself or have your friend call the FAA and complain. :( The only want to get him back is to flood the FAA with emails and phone calls. The LAS FSDO number is (702) 269-1445 and the OKC number is (405) 951-4200. Let work together to get Dr. John Dudek back as a FAA AME in Las Vegas. And if you didn't know he is also a pilot with all his ratings. So, he is also one of our brothers in aviation. Lets get this rolling !!!!!!!

I didn't know the FAA employed any AMEs. What was his position?

I'm guessing that he wasn't fired in the literal sense, but instead had his AME status revoked or not renewed.

Sounds like a great guy...which explains why the FAA would get rid of him.

This is like "Occupy WallStreet"... just do it.

The guy is nice and hands out boner pills like it's Halloween, but to say he does a great job is a bit of a stretch.

Why is Dudek "one of the best FAA AME's around"? Is it the Russian lady that reads you the vision test, or the free viagra samples?

Hard to say whether he is competent, just as a doctor might find it somewhat difficult to know my level of competency by flying on my aircraft, however, when I visited his office for a 1st class medical, he was quite professional, and definitely was interested in checking all the "vitals", unlike some who barely talk to you. Been going to FAA docs for over 30 years, and he is one of the better ones.

Don't go there anymore, as I am not in Las Vegas always. I hope he gets his certification returned to him, and I may consider doing as the original poster suggested.
