Recovery after Laproscopic hernia repair

I've had laproscopic repair of a right inguinal hernia. Has anyone else had this.
How long was the recovery? How long till you felt comfortable going back to work? Any helpful hints or advise? Walking? Biking?

If I had a valett to carry my bags I might be able to go back after 7-10 days
Thanks

I know a guy who had this done and 7-10 days is probably overly ambitious. I'm not familiar with all of the details of his case, but it took him a month to return to flying. He was told he couldn't carry anything heavier than 5 lbs and was to avoid steps/stairs for the first week to avoid overdoing it. I'm sure the last thing anyone wants is to try to rush recovery along and instead do more damage. Walking will be fine; he took small strides and moved slowly at first. Not sure about biking but that sounds like it could put a decent amount of pressure on the repaired hernia. I'm sure your case won't be exactly like his either, but maybe that will give you a benchmark on what to expect. Hope it helps.
