AME in Northern VA
 

Anyone have any experience with Dr. Ambrish Gupta in Arlington, VA? Or have a recommendation on who to see to get a First Class elsewhere in Northern VA?

He's the only one that came up in the area on the FAA site, but admittedly, I'm not that familiar with all the towns and suburbs around there.

I'll be back in the states on business and won't have wheels, staying in Arlington, and need to get a new 1st Class. My previous one expired 2 yrs ago.

Dr valahos in sterling (near IAD) was good but may be retired. I have also used Dr. Comunale in McLean several times. He works out of his home, and has a straight forward exam.

This is an old post but I found it so I imagine others will too. Dr. Comunale in McLean has retired. I'm going to give Gupta a try. In addition to this thread I received one other recommendation in person at my local airport that he is a straightforward examiner.

Dr. Patel has offices in Leesburg and sterling, i highly recommend

I was going to go see Gupta, as well, but I know nothing of him except what I've read on this forum. Anyone seen him recently who can give a recommendation?

Highly recommend Dr Koch. He has an office in KJYO and Reston. Best AME in the area

Do Not waste your time and money on this AME. Nor pilot friendly.
he will throw you under the FAA bus.
