Airline hiring with SI on First Class Medical

Does anyone have any experience, know of websites that would tell me, etc... regarding airlines not hiring you because of a special issuance on your first class medical (metformin with incredibly well-controlled diabetes and low-setting cpap for OSA)? I am trying to get back to my former skinny self in which case both would disappear. Based on my discussion with OK City, a normal sleep study after significant loss and a letter from the doctor saying you have no symptoms and have been cured is within regular medical standards if your weight doesn't rebound. Just trying to get a backup plan. Thanks.

I was hired with a special issuance and it was no big deal. There are plenty of guys out there with them.
