Has anyone ever dealt with palpitations?

Are you referring to skipped beats or just a general awareness of your heartbeat?

common ... reportable ... and usually not a issue

Yes, I did. Happened over 20 years ago........Not painful but really, really scary......

My heart rhythm was suddenly off for some reason. An electrical anomaly probably. My heart frequency would beat:

1.2..3...4....5.....6......7.........!#*!!! and repeat.......

After the 7th, it would kind of quiver and I always had to take a deep breath then it would repeat. It lasted about 20 hours. I had a full stress test done and also had to wear a heart ultra monitor with all those little stickies on my chest.

Before the stress test had started or anything else was put on me, it went away. For a while there, I thought my career, among other things, was over.

Best wishes!

I read somewhere that potassium / electrolyte imbalances should be the first place to check before worrying about other stuff

haha yes !

actually about 6 months ago I started drinking coffee only on weekends (saturday Starbucks run) and instead drink hot green tea in the mornings during weekdays. I feel much better, almost more focused.
