Central NJ AME

Seem to be having bad luck keeping an AME near me who primarily does professional pilots. Anyone have a good rec and whats the cost?

Thanks for the suggestion. A little farther than I'd like to travel. If you don't mind, what's he charging for a 1 st class with and with out EKG?

Dr. Sheren at sommerset airport. He's awesome

Been going to dr. John Dellorso at EWR for my past few medicals.
If you don't mind the drive to ewr.
If I remember correctly I paid less than $100 for my last medical without EKG.
Friendly quick and easy.

I got my first class with Basri without ECG for something like 110. Add $75 for the ECG.

Best of luck

Also, Basri has a couple of offices. Give him a call, there might be one closer to you.

I used Dr. Dellerso at EWR. $160 with EKG. Very nice guy, nice staff good price. My time on site was an hour. It could be longer if you went at the wrong time, seems they do a lot of other airport medical for various parties (airline, TSA, police, etc) so it's dependent on how many are in front when you arrive. Phyical was a little more involved then I've been used to but still reasonable and nothing like some (non) aviation AME i haved used that were regular practitioners.
One good thing, if you laying over at an airport hotel, there is bus service from the airport to the building on the north side of the airport if you don't have wheels available.
I'd say a good option for anyone laying over EWR who needs a physical and is available during normal weekday hours.
