The best option for you is to disclose ALL your medical history.
There are 15 disqualifying medical condition, your condition as described is not on the list.
Also disclose any MEDICATIONS currently prescribed for this condition--come clean at the start before you are accused of FALSIFICATION of a Govt Document.

Selfish and shortsighted. Thanks, mom.
If this was an "accommodation" diagnosis, you don't have a mental disorder, and never did. I don't think any of us have access to enough of the "story" to make that determination. Good luck.

Unlikely that this would ever come to light. In fact your posting on this forum (FAA folks do read it) is probably the only thing that puts you at risk of getting caught.
Hypothetically speaking, if you got caught you could probably claim that you were a child and never even knew about the diagnosis. That would probably be the end of it...unless someone can link you to this forum discussion. Maybe best to abandon this user account and forget the whole conversation. Like others have said, if no meds are involved it's probably no big deal and being honest wouldn't harm your potential career.

I have heard this... part of the reason why I am considering avoiding doing so. But I have heard that your only likely to get caught lying if you have a serious ongoing medical condition. But would they really send me to prison and fine me thousands of dollars just because I didn't check 'Yes" on a one paged document that involved a diagnosis I would have completely forgotten If It wasn't for me looking back.
Answer the questions honestly, but don't divulge information that isn't asked for.
Attention Deficit Disorder can be disqualifying - but it needs further review from the FAA in OKC. You see - I am trying to figure out what the process is like if I decide to disclose all my medical documents involving ADD (which is only a single document). Because I am going to regret it if I end up having to spend 4,000 on an evaluation and then 5,000 on flight training only to get denied after waiting two years.
