Hiatal Hernia?

Anyone ever have one, and what did you do to ease the symptoms or problems associated with one? I have one and wondering what others have done about it. Thanks

I have one and figured out what triggered mine. It was eating and laying down soon afterwards. You have to give it at least 3 hours, more if possible, to help digestion. I also avoid fatty and fried foods, especially for dinner. Alcohol can be a trigger as well as spices and spicy foods. My doctor recommended medication but my insurance company wouldn't approve it as they wanted me to try over the counter meds first. I don't like taking medication of any kind so read up on it and used trial and error. I feel much better now and haven't gotten sick on a layover (when eating/sleep schedules can get screwed up) for months.

Of course, your symptoms and severity may be different, but you can probably figure out what triggers it and when. Good luck and feel better!
