Default Pilot Friendly AME

My AME retired and I am looking for recommendations for an AME who is a pilot advocate. I've had some issues in the past and am hesitant to pick one at random. Any help is appreciated. I'm in the BNA area and am willing to travel.

Thanks!

Yeah, not sure what we're going to do without Charlie. I think we're all going to have to retire!

I would bet there are a number of "pilot friendly" AMEs that are highly experienced in Special Issuance/SODA concerns in both SDF and MEM...

Around Louisville, Schulthise & Daniels are fairly popular and I have had nearly a decade worth of good experiences with the three AMEs at MedEast Physicians.

I've used Dr. Tom Whitfield many a time in Brentwood. Great guy, I think he charges like $140 for a 1st class though but I thought it was worth it. In/Out typically ~30 min, and no hassling. Of course make sure you have your medexpress form submitted and you'll be good to go.

The address is
343 FRANKLIN RD STE 101
Brentwood, Tennessee 37027

This guy is supposed to be one of the best special issue AME's out there.

Bock in MEM does just about all the FedEx guys and Delta commuters who are still around.

Dr. Kitslaar. Dr. Kitslaar > Home

His office is located in Terminal 2 at ORD. Probably thousands of airline guys go to him and I'd guess he has to be one of the most experienced AME's in the country. I highly recommend.

Anyone thinking of pooling our $$ and getting Charlie some sort of retirement gift? I've been seeing him since 1991 and I want to do something for him. If others are interested in doing this please PM me here. Thanks.
