Probably not, but living in ORF means that you'll have a pretty easy commute to DCA or CLT, or perhaps PHL if that becomes a reality. Looking online briefly, this coming Monday there's 4 flights to DCA, 7 to PHL, and 9 flights to CLT out of ORF. Given your choices, I'd go PSA, but I'm a little biased. Let me know if you've got any other questions.

Oh trust me, I am very aware of the ease with commuting to CLT and DCA from either PHF and ORF.
That ORF crew base is just wishful thinking on my part.

One thing to consider with ORF being a Mx base... We will be overnighting there as much or more than we currently do. Two that means once you are a R1 pilot at PSA you can take advantage of the SAP and pick up / swap into trips with ORF and PHF overnights. I was doing that for a while in my hometown and I was getting 3-5 overnights at home every month during my trips. So on average I would only be away from home 6-9 nights /month. One of the benefits of the SAP.

I know a few and fly with a few as well. Tho I don’t personally do it, I hear that commute is super easy. They never even have to try Delta cause they always get on American, especially with the airbus running that route all day with 2 jumpseats.

Sweet! Is this to CLT or another PSA base? I was thinking DCA since reserve time is lower than CLT.

In addition, she lived close enough to drive between ATL and TYS if needed. She didn't live close enough for the short-call reserve time requirement. I understand she's at DL now.

Hey guys, been about 4 months since I was really on the forum. Anything big changed in the PSA world? I saw that the RTP now requires 1000 hours, literally double the previous requirement.
