Thanks for answering my tax question. Got a few more-
1. Do I need to have my 1st class medical before interviewing or before I start class?
2. I'm anticipating completing my hours in 4 months from now. If I interview now and get a job offer, do I have to pick a class date now or contact PSA as I get closer and fix a start date?
3. Are you interviewing at FAPA job fair in Seattle on Aug 25?

Thanks!

We typically want to see a First Class medical before you interview, unless there is a valid reason that you can't get one (have had a few legitimate reasons in the past - work Monday-Saturday at current job and can't get off of work to get one...something like that). But typically, you should have a first class medical.

We will usually let you pick a tentative date, but will not enroll you in that date until you are a little closer. The ATP-CTP classes tend to fill very quickly, so it is better to get a class date earlier if you need the ATP-CTP class.

I don't know about the FAPA event yet. I will check with the office staff on Tuesday. Send me a PM early next week and I can let you know.

Default New HR document

I'm hoping PSA Recruiter or someone else can tell me that I'm not in as bad of a situation as I think I am. I'm starting new hire training soon and just noticed the requirement to have my social security card on day one.
I have a SSN but I haven't been in possession of my card for almost 20 years. I thought about replacing it, at some point, but the ss website stated I don't really need it as long as I know my number. So I didn't...
I'm submitting the form for a replacement card asap, but IF the card doesn't show up before my start date, will I be able to bring in the card and required copies at a later date during the course? Is there something I can bring in temporarily like the Benefits Verification Letter from the SS website? I also have my DD 214 with my SSN.
Thank you and I'll be keeping my fingers crossed.

Smile Interview Etc.

-For the interview with a current ATP will PSA be conducting a sim evaluation for the interview?
-How long is Indoc, training and where?
-How much pay during training?
-Once on the line, how long is a new hire typically on reserve?
-Out of training what is the likelihood of holding CLT?
-What bidding system is used for scheduling?

Thank you!!!

Every single question you asked was answered here at least 3-4 times in the last few months. Take a look back. There are entire threads dedicated to some of these with multiple paragraphs describing the answers is painful detail.

I suggest reading these, and then aviationinterviews.com.

Contact the HR people that you have been in contact with.

Look at the I-9 form online. It lists the approved documents.

If you take the application to the Social Security office with your supporting documents they can probably issue a new card on the spot.

Thanks. I'm hoping the I-9 is what they need it for in which case my passport suffices.
