Or better yet, having a good idea of what restaurants are in the hub and even outstations helps for planning on what and when to eat. I don't eat meat or dairy and I make it work just fine. I just end up eating a lot of the same thing many times.
Or you can try these

Respectfully, Michael 39%
I think the cost of AAG keeping a 30 airplane fleet at Envoy would be a lot more expensive than keeping up with the compensation costs to get them over here. And AAG is loosing a bunch of 200s with Whisky headed over to Kirby's Revenge so the idea of trading 200s for the 700s seems less likely, although they are trying to pull those small EMBs out of the desert for Envoy.

It's all a crazy game, but however that particular part of the game ends, I don't think it involves a 30 airplane fleet at a WO.

As for flow, no idea. Trying to predict more than one year out (heck, 3 months out) is crazy talk, and this industry is on the fast train to who the heck knows right now.

One thing is for sure, market forces *seem* to be in our favor right now. All this talk that certain people like to have on P2.0 about "squeezing the company" is kinda pointless. No matter what one's personal opinions about using your cell to call MX or if you should take a 200 with a broke APU, the company has much, much bigger fish to fry.

Plus those things are not very healthy. High in sodium and designed for people who are burning lots of calories.

What is the fastest way to get to a major? I really want to skip the entire non-glamourous regional phase. May be for some but I don't think it's for me.
The best way to get to the majors is to keep flight instructing. It's all pic time.

Hey, how long is it taking to hold CLT out of training? How long does reserve typically run? Does having 121 experience help with your bid?

Hi,

Usually you can hold it while your still in the training pipeline. Reserve to R1 (since that's what most people care about) is running about 7 months in CLT.

121 experience can help you bid because you know what you like and you know how to bid for it. This is especially true if you have experience with how line bidding works and the digital hellscape that is FLICA.

CLT seems to change from month-to-month. You might not get it during your initial bid during training but should not take too long. Plan on possibly 1-3 months in another base. If it turns out less, great. You will probably get awarded CLT at some point during training (including SIM and IOE) but the effective date will probably be 2-3 months out.

Besides that, there's time to get off and get something quick. You MAKE the time. You're good to nobody if you're hungry and on poor diet.
Thanks for the recommendation. Do you find food near the hotel and use ice from the hotel machines?

Nothing like a quick turn with just enough time to prep the aircraft for the next leg!
