Does PSA provide rental car in CVG during the ATP-CTP course?
My friend doing the CTP in Miami got one. I remember someone saying he didn't get one in Dallas. How about CVG?
Thanks!

No, the hotel shuttle will have to suffice.

Just a heads up, no new hire got a CLT base award on the one that just closed.
50% (ish) DAY
25% CVG
25% DCA
And only 1 TYS

I would assume yes. The company does off site interviews. Show up prepared to interview.

Interviews are only done at a very small percent of events, and only if someone from the interview team goes there. Besides the CP's, there are only 4 pilots that conduct FO interviews. This is kept small for consistency and to make sure that the people doing the interviews are trained properly. This way, each interview is the same.

There will be another one in a few days. This is not a surprise. People typically get DAY or CVG on their first award (when they are still in training) and then get CLT on the next one.

I don't think anyone hasn't gotten the base of their choice within 2 months of finishing IOE this year.

Previous class (July 31st) had some good movement away from CVG and DAY to DCA with the new class bid, but I didn't see any that got CLT yet. They should all still be in Sims, so they might have one more shot during IOE to get it.

Default Flow questions

A few questions regarding the flow.

1) If you flow through as a Captain do you revert back to FO?

2) If you revert back does anyone know the average time to upgrade again at the mainline?

3) If you flow through after 8 years at PSA do you start at year 1 or year 8 on the American pay charts?

I'm sorry if these have been answered but I've searched the threads with no luck.

You start at the bottom of AA's seniority list, so you will be an FO.

No idea what the upgrade time is, but will vary by fleet and domicile.

You do not keep your longevity when you flow, so year one.

PM if you've got any more questions about PSA or are looking for a referral.
