Has PSA partnered with any additional flight schools than Skywarrior for their transition training? I've looked on the PSA website and still only seer them listed.
I don't ask to disparage SW, only to see if there are multiple schools available to reduce chances of delay due to massive amounts of applicants.

It would be cool to see American start a flight academy, but not sure they would want to take on the investment.

Answers to questions that I have received PM in the last couple days...
If I apply today, when is the earliest/latest that I could start class?
Right now, our classes are pretty full. When I looked a couple days ago, we still had 2 or 3 seats left in December, and about 10-12 seats left in January. Once those are full, it will be February. We also have waiting lists for classes, and have been very successful in getting people in earlier classes as seats open. Some of our ATP-CTP classes are contracted with CAE, and as they have extra seats, they will release those to us. We usually find out a few days beforehand, so people on the waitlist have been able to get in on short notice. Starting class a month earlier will mean that you have ~65 less people in front of you. That is a good thing.
If you are prior 121 and do not need the ATP-CTP class, we are usually able to get you in to an interview very quickly and in a FO class if you want to start ASAP. It all depends on when you want to start.
If you don't want to start class immediately, then you must interview within 6 months of starting FO new hire class. We prefer 3 months, but it can be extended up to 6 months.
When you apply, let the person that contact you know that you want a class date as soon as possible, or several months out. That will help ensure that you are either brought in right away, or that you can wait a few weeks before you interview. We have had several people come in and want a class 8 months later. In those instances, we have to bring them back for a second interview, and no one wants to interview twice.
Any rumors about a new base?
I have heard all kinds of rumors, but none are currently strong enough for me to really comment on that. About a year ago, it was thought that we would be opening a base in ORD. Instead, we opened a base in DCA. I have my guess, but we will see what the future will hold. If I knew, I would tell you.
What would upgrade time look like having previous time in CRJ?
Upgrade time right now is really low. We have a company rule that you must have 300 hours with our company, but I am not sure how set in stone that rule is. I believe that we had quite a few empty seats in the last upgrade class with people bypassing. I think the most junior upgrade recently had been with the company less than 6 months. What will it look like going forward is anyones guess.
Is the bonus with a 2-year commitment?
Yes. The bonus comes with a 2 year commitment that is prorated after 12 months. If you have a CL65 type rating, you get an extra $5000.
What is the current projection for flow?
The official projection from the company is 6-7 years. The majority of our attrition is due to people leaving to majors and not through the flow. I have not seen exactly how it is calculated, so I can not comment on the details about it, but that is what the planners at PSA and AA have calculated.
