Is the additional loss of medical available through ALPA, or did you source it elsewhere?

Does anyone here have a electronic copy of the CRJ manual specific to PSA? I just got offered a job and have some down time before starting. I would like to get a head start on the book knowledge if I can. I understand there are some generic manuals for the CRJ 2/7/900 but I would prefer company specific instructions and manuals if someone is willing to email/dropbox them to me.

I second ALPA supplemental insurance. It is very affordable and is well worth the peace of mind if you ever lose your medical or license. The supplemental life insurance is very reasonable priced as well.

What is the hiring environment at the moment like at PSA? I'm nearing 1000 hours (qualify for RATP 1250) and submitted my app through Airline Apps, but I haven't heard anything in nearly 2 weeks whereas another regional called within 48 hours.
I have no "skeletons" in my closet. I am 20 instead of 21, but by the time I hit my hours I will be 21, so maybe this is the issue?

Hi, I did a turn in Charlotte this week and it brought back thoughts of making a lateral move. Currently 1,000 hours in the CRJ. I would like to fly for American as a destination airline but it will be hard at my current 121. I see that Skywest is raising pay and if PSA matches or adopts Envoys Street Captain HVA program it would sweeten things up for me. I feel like my current position is stalling and there is nothing left but to upgrade at my current 121 and nothing else is left after that. What are your thoughts on this?
