As a counter punch to on-time performance, you have to take into account our executive management's ineptitude in negotiations with maintenance for a new contract. Hard to be on-time when airplanes aren't released from maintenance on the first flight of the day until departure time, or when airplanes don't get to the gate from the hangar until departure time. How about when you're in a mx base and you're number 3 in the queue and it takes 2 hours to get a simple deferral for a broken seat back. I can say that no flight of mine has been delayed because the crew wasn't where they were supposed to be.
psa should do a study, since i am sure they can have the acars send a message, and measure our on time perf. with break released then compare the two

Maybe the new VP-level administrator will figure this out...

If they cared so much they’d change the system. And I don’t discredit the fact that they care, they just don’t care enough to pay everyone properly from door close / brake release...

Did anyone else see the thing posted about the fuel czar that Envoy's MEC put out ?
Anyway in the comments on FB pilot page it seems as though AA wholly owned are beat over the head with flying econ speed, SET, etc etc while comments from the contract carriers are saying they are encouraged to take as much fuel as they can and fly as fast as possible.
So, yea... Like we all already knew they don't really care that we are on time as much as they say they do.
Just another tool in the whip saw tool box... I mean how do we deserve raises when we are always late while our "competition" isn't... 🤔
