First, I don’t think he was being boastful. He’s being honest about a perplexing situation he’s in. If anything, it’s the opposite as he was admitting NK and JetBlue weren’t interested.

Second, with our pay rates, we can’t afford God’s gift to aviation anyway.

LOL whut? that was an incredibly weird response.

So saying that I actually got a response from the ULCC where as some people never hear a thing gives me hope that I could possibly go somewhere outside the flow makes me God's Gift...

SWEET !

Bow before your master mere mortals

let me guess... you made a fake profile on YouTube so you can make stupid comments on Swayne's videos...

With the latest data for the feb awards. At least 2 years in the most junior base.

Not that it isn't possible, but I would be stunned if it was only two years. If you were to upgrade right after you came in, you'd obviously be at the bottom of the seniority list for a long time, akin to the direct entries we had 3-ish years ago.

Exactly. That number was from a snapshot of that exact time. Another thing to remember is over the half the pilot group has been here under 2 years. So many of them are now hitting their 1000 hours and being sent to the left seat. So I’d imagine those numbers to rise rapidly in the next 6 months.

Exactly what's going through my mind. We've been upgrading like crazy, but at a certain point, it'll only happen to replace those who flow and are hired outside of it. Wouldn't surprise me to see upgrade classes of 6-ish at some point.
