LOL whut? that was an incredibly weird response.
So saying that I actually got a response from the ULCC where as some people never hear a thing gives me hope that I could possibly go somewhere outside the flow makes me God's Gift...

Not that it isn't possible, but I would be stunned if it was only two years. If you were to upgrade right after you came in, you'd obviously be at the bottom of the seniority list for a long time, akin to the direct entries we had 3-ish years ago.

Exactly. That number was from a snapshot of that exact time. Another thing to remember is over the half the pilot group has been here under 2 years. So many of them are now hitting their 1000 hours and being sent to the left seat. So I’d imagine those numbers to rise rapidly in the next 6 months.
