They're anticipating the next scheduling software shutdown this summer. If half the pilots are on reserve, then they don't have to know where the lineholders are in order to staff their flights.

Can I get PHL out of training? I was offered a class date in July. Also how may hours a month should I expect to fly during reserve? Is it like 9E or RAH that are barely getting flight hours ?
