Yeah, it's a pain. We're either D6 for the JS or AAC for non-rev but not both.. which is dumb. At least we all get non-rev on all 3 airlines we operate for.

You’re missing something. Example PSA flight: psa guy gets priority. If there’s no PSA guy but there’s a mainline guy and an envoy guy the envoy guy would get the jumpseat even if the mainline guy is ahead of him on the priority list.

It’s insanity.

Yea I don’t like that. I could have sworn it was by time of check in for every AAG pilot and that if it was “your” metal you got priority.

I commute on eagle. I’m quite familiar.

Yes, unity on the mainline seniority list.

Yeah I wouldn’t be opposed to own metal then then by time of check in. I thought that was the case when I was working a desk job at no line until I came to eagle.

Just read your company jumpseat policy in the operation manual.
W/O are owned by aag so they go above d6 and APC who are subcontracted to fly as american eagle. Non w/o does not have priority of aa or w/o EXCEPT ON THEIR OWN METAL.
Get over it, change companies If it bothers you that much.

If you commute on Eagle flights and it’s that much of an issue for you all three wholly owned Eagles and all the contract carriers are hiring and you would have priority then... I don’t see why this is an issue. Don’t be dicks to each other when commuting and everything will work out.

all regionals have non-rev privileges on most airlines, what matters is your boarding priority ...

He's a no w/o and wants a higher priority than you. Just some one who cant deal with reality.

But really the thing I would love to see is for AAC be listed as, “AAC FDJ”. That would help out tremendously for commuting. Especially for those who have to commute on the contract “Eagle” regionals.

Them separating the each WO listing by company will be nice as well. PSA FDJ, EVY FDJ, PDT FDJ etc...

Except AAC doesn’t do a CASS verification and it is higher than D3’s etc. I’m sorry, but the regional partners are hired guns who don’t have a loyalty to the brand like a WO carrier. A Republic pilot can fly DL and UA in ORD so why should they be able to use the AAC code for a jumpseat and knock somebody out of the jumpseat on an AA flight when they do nothing for the brand?

And yes, I’m speaking in very broad terms, but the same thing applies to those who say that they should get flow to AA because AAG owns 26% of the company. I can’t see giving extra incentives to those who choose to help the competition.

The same goes for Mesa and Skywest. Should a Mesa CR7 IAD driver be able to get the jumpseat on AA over an XJT guy just because his company flies the 900 out of another base for AA? It’s impossible to keep them all separate and that’s why I agree with the policy of them having to cancel and AAC listing and go to D6UJ. I always check the GPALL to make sure the jumpseat is given out appropriately.
