Twin Hill Pants

Anyone have any of the old Twin Hill Slim Flat front pants in 32x32 they'd be willing to part with? (I could do 32x34 as well, if anyone has them)

Can't deal with the M&H version, and figured it'd be worth a shot to ask here.

Might be a more expensive option, but a lot of the mainline pilots are ordering pants from Acutabove since everyone seems to hate the M&H version. I hated them as soon as I got them out of the packaging. I just ordered the Acutabove pants and I’m hoping they’re in before my next trip. Graphite Navy is supposed be an exact color match and also a perfect match with the M&H blazer. There’s a thread about it on the mainline forums. Any pants that aren’t M&H will not be reimbursed though.

Cool... Yeah, I saw those on their website, just haven't seen any reviews on the fit yet.

Not really worried about the cost... Well-fitting clothes/uniforms are worth the money.

Let me know what you think when you get them, if you don't mind.

I have the AA Grey that was at Twin Hill I got 2 years ago.. crotch blew out though and I am patiently waiting to hear about these graphite navy. They are a straight leg though from cut above. Not a very relaxed fit. Sharpnlooking pair of pants thought. M&H is a joke.

Can't speak for the latest color, but if these new ones are cut the same as their AA Grey version, then you'll find that they fit much like the Twin Hill pants did. They'll machine wash just fine with Woolite (line dry).

Ill give a report when I get mine in. Looks like they didn’t ship until earlier today

Air Stang 7 09-11-2019 04:31 PM

The company should issue you guys Heaven Hill products instead.

I bet you say that to all the FAs.

Thanks, man.

Someone on Bluestreak said they're not all that different from the M&M version... Hoping that's not the case.

Has anyone gotten the sweater from A Cut Above? I'm looking at getting one so I can avoid having to wear the M&H pants that match the jacket. Also looks more comfortable and professional than the suit jacket.

Anyone ever been bothered for wearing a sweater since it's not really in the FOM?

farewxflyer 10-08-2019 07:09 AM

Just got the a cut above in Graphite Navy, 100% better than the M and H pants. Fit true to size and more slim modern fit. No scratchy feeling on the inside of the pants. 10/10 would recommend.

I haven't worn the blazer in two years, and no one has ever said a word about wearing the sweater.

Thanks for the info... May be pulling the trigger on those.

Dumb question but do you guys wear the same as PDT? Wondering if this would work for us as well. They didn’t give us any uniform information in indoc.

Upntheair27 10-11-2019 06:17 PM

All the wholly owneds wear the same AA uniform. Twin hill is considered hazmat and anyone caught wearing it will be lashed. Stick to cut above or the new MH 'cody' pants coming out this month. They seem super solid. MH realized they were crap and did a about face it seems. We'll see when I get my new ones.

SPAWNmaster 10-11-2019 07:25 PM

Ok that’s good to know. I actually really liked the Cody pants when I tried them on during CTP. Only thing that wasn’t great was lack of size options but the quality seemed good and was comfortable.

Just give me a knowing nod in the terminal when you see the eagle buttons on the blazer and the eagle on my belt buckle. The M&H "suit" is a piece of trash and I'll take the cancer-causing rat-poison-soaked Twin Hill any day.

Next you'll tell me to stop bringing peanuts on the plane because someone might swell up and die.

So edgy...

I think (hope) the post was satire. Though the part about the suit being garbage, that doesn't seem too far off...

Duck Sausage 10-13-2019 08:30 AM

Am I the only one who thinks the twin hill and M&H are both garbage? Cut Above pants and shirts.. can we get a sponsor!?

JayBee 10-14-2019 10:20 AM

More importantly - if the uniform you buy, from wherever you buy it, is within reg then... you should be reimbursed for it !:eek::eek:

Malcolm Tent 10-14-2019 11:31 AM

It actually makes sense to provide the cash to the employee and let them purchase a uniform that meets the standards from whomever. By doing this the company transfers any liability issues from allergies or hurt feelings to the employee who made the decision to purchase from company X.
