Lol ok you can pretend that PBS isn't something the company is trying to work towards if you feel like it, but LOA 17 literally said that the Union and the company are working towards an agreement on PBS that'll go out to the pilot group for a vote.
Maybe the Company or Union have walked away from the table maybe they haven't, but since they're both keeping us in the dark all I can report is what I've been told from official channels.

LOA 17 announcement issued April 3rd 2019 which mandates that the eventual PBS agreement be voted on by the pilot group on page 4 paragraph 3.
As well as the memorandum of understanding on PBS issued April 3rd 2019 which specifies that parallel bidding and implementation of PBS may not begin until negotiations are complete.
You can find both of these in the ALPA section of your Comply 365 under the LOA and MOU folders respectively.
If you have an actual announcement from the Union or Company regarding PBS more recent than these agreements, then by all means share it with the group.

Now if PBS is in fact dead then I look forward to the Union announcement to that effect.

I sincerely believe that if you don't think trip and duty rigs are important not only to current affairs but future implementations of PBS or other contract language then you don't know what the fudge your talking about.
That said... we'll probably get some **** poor worded Min Day language cause you know getting $20 more per vacaction day and training event is more important then the rest of year where 90% of your pay comes from...

I have gradually learned that “not right now” is often functionally equivalent to never - especially so when it comes to airline labor issues.

Well... the Union also stated several times unequivocally that pay raises were not on the discussion table and we got one out of thin air ! So... you know... stuff.

Umm, yea.
Just saying no one knows the future.
You don't think if daddy said make PBS happen that it wouldn't ?
Of course the Union would be involved. Me thinks you took what I said too literally, when it was tongue in cheek. But hey, we is pilots so we got to tell everyone how much they're wrong and how much we are right, right ?
No one anticipated pay raises and we got them.

Whatever you decide don't base it on the lies the recruiters and management will tell you about the flow. They're telling candidates 6 years but probably more like 5. Maybe they know something they're not telling us but it's easily double that.
