Also, can someone share PHL pairings at PSA?

Anyone? Is there a good amount of 1-3 day trips or are all trips mostly 4 days long?

Also, how senior is PHL on CA side? I do realize that things may (and most likely will) change in 1-2 years before I even get eligible to upgrade.

There's no rhyme or reason to what pairings a base might have for a given month. Trips are definitely primarily 4 days.

The biggest factor about PHL as a base is that it's small. That's about to change in a week when the CVG lines get redistributed. Unclear now whether PHL will grow slightly (likely?) or get all of CVG's lines and triple in size (unlikely). With PHL being small, seniority there is really idiosyncratic. 5 or 10 guys who live in Philly could swing it way senior. It's unlikely to ever be junior because they've created a mass of senior pilots displaced from CVG who are looking for R1 slots. That will take a couple years to clear out.

Maybe. There's only like four direct flights a day between CVG and PHL so CLT would be a much easier commute if they couldn't hold DAY.

Doesn’t particularly matter if cvg guys go to phl or not. It’s relatively accessible to a lot of people (unlike orf for example)

because of that it’s really unlikely r1 will ever be particularly junior. The cvg/day mess only exacerbates the situation.

the seniority of the CVGers going to PHL matters, only speaking for myself but if I was an exCVGer and had the seniority to go to CLT it would be an easier commute than PHL and that would be second to DAY.

So yeah it will be interesting to see the changes that's for sure.

The 2nd order changes out of Dayton will probably be most significant. A bunch of 400-600 seniority captains there are about to lose r1. Where they go could have a big impact

We can expect some of them to go wherever the lines from CVG go. Those that live where they can sit reserve from the house and can live comfortably on guarantee will not even try to bid out. All together, I don't think it will upset the data very much unless the company did a poor job of staffing based on post-closure line distribution.

There will be some domino effects, but not a huge shift.
