Attrition numbers
Does anyone exactly know what the attrition number is to other airlines besides the flow?

Edit: Ok, fine. In December we lost 30 pilots, 10 CAs to the flow, 10 FOs somewhere in the training process, and 10 to elsewhere. So, for December, a number equal to the flow to outside attrition. |
I think in the ballpark of 30 is an accurate number.

I would expect attrition to increase moving forward. 2020 is the first year of very meaningful retirement numbers at the legacies. The retirements don’t even hit their stride for another 4-5 years where they’ll be retiring over 3,000 pilots every year. And even when it starts to taper down it still stays above 3,000 pilots retiring /year for a year or two. The numbers are staggering. Attrition will go up everywhere.

Yes, there are people that know. I could look it up, but I'm a lazy pilot.
