There has got to be something in the works from daddy AA coming down the line. PSA loses 20 airframes, company says they're grossly overstaffed and furloughs and downgrades more than any other regional. Nothing changes and no new airframes (yet) and they bring back everyone PLUS some people with CJOs. And also some of these people with CJOs haven't even done the ATP-CTP course so they're spending additional money to send them out there for that. Seems to be a strange strategy for sure.

PSA has changed its purpose statement from “To strengthen American Airlines and create opportunities for our people and our customers.”
to
”To make a positive difference in the lives of each person we interact with every single day.”
AA dropped from the purpose statement, but does it mean anything or is it just front office babble?

Probably just PR bs. But you never know. The front line workers will always be the absolute last to find out about everything. Think back to CVG closing.

I never said that, read again what I wrote. I said something is definitely going on in the near future if PSA is hiring. You all seem to have no idea why hiring has started again. I’d expect you’ll have an answer shortly. I’d assume it should be good news?

The only piece of PSA OO would ever want is the 7/900’s, SkyWest Leasing would love to take those off Americans hands. 0% chance of any merger with OO at least. It’s a rumor not confirmed that PSA is potentially for sale. American just sold there 6 new 175’s to YX so obviously they’re in selling mode.
I can’t think of any merger that would make sense for PSA anyways.
