how will you know? When you see the check. Don’t make any plans until then. That is a fundamental tenet in this industry.

Well they just ****ed off a couple hundred brand new pilots. Just have to get your hours ASAP and start applying to real airlines. Regionals all suck compared to majors.

Not defending them at all, but welcome to the regionals. It could be so much better than it is, but that would cost money. And we just don’t spend money like that around here

Your advice is good, but as far as missing the bonus goes that's just luck of the draw really. Sometimes you get lucky, sometimes you get screwed, general rule of thumb though is seniority in the long run is more valuable than any bonus.

I started indoc July 5. We all received an email yesterday that we would be receiving the 15k. So, my indoc class was the earliest class to get the bonus. All classes after July 5 indoc will also receive the bonus.
