I was hired on with the promise of a 20k bonus and a 20k bonus payable on your 2nd year anniversary of working for PSA. My initial bonus was not payed out right away and even after multiple times being promised it would be paid they refused to and waited until after Jan 1st of that year. I was told flat out by crew pay on the phone “we know we should pay you but we won’t until after the new years”.

The 20k retention bonus in the small print said payable over 2 years at $2500 a quarter. Then when we got forced upgraded to captain PSA told us since we weren’t FO’s anymore we were not eligible for the 20k retention bonus which I had received 1 $2500 payment for.

PSA will try and screw you with money and every other way they can. Be fore warned.
Exactly why no one should even consider paying back their bonuses when they leave.

Can’t they sue you then? Or say you were a bad employee to your next company?

No. But they can sell the debt to a debt collector and then you could potentially have your credit damaged.

You have no idea how the US legal system works or debt.

you can set up payments too, $100/month and nothing they can do about it. And they’ll be out of business in 2 years

All a former employer can do is confirm your dates of hire. Anything more and they can get sued for Slander

You need to prefix this comment with "I am not a lawyer, and I have no clue what I am talking about".

There are former PSA pilots on the payment plans.. some heard nothing.

I’m not some 22 year old Riddle Rat that has no real world work experience.. I actually know how the real world works

Fellow PSA Pilots,I have heard from numerous pilots about not receiving the retention bonus Management promised would be deposited today.”

Management / Payroll is Ridiculous here. Highly unprofessional and borderline fraudulent contracts.

Don’t recall all of it, but it had a $15,000 new hire incentive, $7,500 type rating bonus, and $10,000 if you had at least 600 hours
