It could be a historic attitude thing (people before me with a similar background and a chip on their shoulder etc...)
It could be a “how much return on investment can we get out of a new hire before they leave thing.
I also just got an invitation to apply to PSA 2 days after a TBNT letter so it may just be that they flushed their pool and want to see who reapplies.
