New hires - housing costs during training?

Hello everyone. For anyone who is currently in training, has a class date or about to start in a class, I have a couple of questions, mainly about housing.
Does anyone know how housing works for the duration of training? I know for the ATP-CTP course, PSA goes through ATP flight school and PSA pays the cost of the course but they make no mention of housing. For the ATP-CTP course are we required to pay for housing?
But my more important question is throughout all of training from the start of your class date until training is complete (4 month period probably), how does housing work? Are you on your own for housing or do they provide a hotel?
If a hotel, does PSA pay for all of some of that cost? I appreciate any information regarding this, and in addition if you have info regarding incurred expenses (besides food) during training that are not paid for by the airline, that info would help too. Thanks!

Housing is single room hotel totally paid by psa

you get per diem 24/7 which is something like $300/week tax free. Theoretically that’s your food allowance.

Does the per diem start when atp start or when you get to indoc?

I appreciate the info, and also thanks for mentioning that the rooms are single occupancy, I was wondering about that as well.

Jcool I'm not sure and am just guessing, but I don't think the per diem starts for the ATP-CTP, but rather at your first day of indoc. I believe the ATP-CTP is separate from anything to do with PSA, other than that PSA pays the $3,500 to ATP for the course. I don't even know if housing is included for the ATP-CTP. However I looked at the ATP website and it says the CTP course is a 7 day course, so even if we do have to pay for housing for that 1 week, it shouldn't be too bad.

Hotel is included. Single occupancy and it’s a Residence Inn type place. If it’s the same hotel, you will have lots of food, Walmart, SAMs Club options next door.

Per diem and Pay starts day 1 of Indoc.

Hotels were provided during ATP-CTP when I went through 2 plus years ago. Per Diem doesn't start until Day 1 of indoc when you are officially an employee and get a seniority date. From ATP-CTP to training the hotels will provide you with transportation to and from any classes, sims etc.

PSA pays for a hotel and transportation during the ATP/CTP along with the cost of the course. No Per Diem, so you're on your own for food. They also pay for airfare from your home airport round trip to DFW. Pay and Per Diem starts day one of indoc. PSA also provides lodging during indoc and sims.

And … this is cool … they even provide a hotel in your first base (and every subsequent base change) until you have gotten “relocation days” which is 4 days off in a row
