Makes some sense. 4 additional 900s coming our way, and an additional 3 seats on the ones we already have makes an overall net loss of about 7 700s (a loss of 456 seats ÷ 65).

Should've been sent there a long time ago with the amount of maintenance delays they had.

All old ENY birds?

Too bad they probably won’t make the Legacy PSA airplanes dual FMS.

Do not celebrate blatant scope violations.

Is it actually a scope violation? Has APA started a grievance against it? Genuinely curious since I keep seeing various mentions of an old carve out for it.

Yes. They filed an expedited presidential grievance this week. The tone of the email was pretty telling.

Can they staff them? I understand they had to stop flying some of their -200s due to lack of pilots.

no, we are parting out the planes since they don’t make parts for them anymore.

That old carve out died years ago. Those same CRJ900's are flying around with new interiors with 76 seats, so the whole claim of these being the replacements of the originals is completely absurd.

This is just a grab at scope.

A grievance has been filed.

"We're parking planes in the desert. Better file a grievance."

Skywest is flying some of PSA’s old 200s in United colors. But prob ~2/3rds of them are being parted out.
