PSA TA going to pass?

Do you guys at Skywest even get to vote on stuff like this? Or is it management says yes to airways for a rate and it is up to Skywest to figure the cost out later. I don't remember Mesa voting on if they wanted to fly 170's for united. Lastly I don't know where the pay cut ideology is coming from we already have a 700/900 rate and the TA doesn't change that. We fly all aircraft at a blended rate so for every large aircraft on property the pay rate as a whole goes up incrementally. The crap of this TA comes in with the pay caps and adjustments to medical bennies. So if your going to hate the TA hate it for the real reasons not what is floating around on this message board.

So... A company that is not bankrupt, at a time of increasing profits and reducing labor supply is asking for concessions and the pilots are even close to agreeing with it? What is this? The twilight zone? What is the upside for pilots here? Serious question.
And yes, can someone post the TA?

At SkyWest the pilot reps will negotiate on their behalf and when something is agreeable it is put out to the pilots as a whole to vote on. Several proposals have passed and several have been kicked back. Despite what others on this board say its a pretty standard procedure. There are differences from unionized carriers, primarily the sense of trust to bargain faithfully on both sides.

I hope everyone is trying to reach out to any PSA folks they know to make sure everyone is aware of the Stop The Whipsaw movement. I don't know why someone wouldn't want to better the industry across the board. One guess is that some of the PSA guys are unaware. Also, I noticed in another thread that PSA guys were getting upset that outsiders would try to influence their vote. Don't get upset. You should be emboldened and empowered by how many pilots are supporting you to NOT take a paycut! Who wouldn't want to band together to improve life for everybody?? It seems so short sided and closed minded to not get behind this movement. I'll vote no and encourage anyone else here at SkyWest to do the same. I'll push for a union (probably not ALPA) if need be because all our respective companies, every single one, is posting huge profits. We should be getting raises. Especially if it's to fly bigger a/c.
If you ask them, they will tell you it is providing "job security" or some other crap. Or that they don't want to be shut down in 2020. Most know how ridiculous that sounds but I kid you not, go back and read the other thread and you will see words and phrases like that thrown around.
It will be a shame if that passes. After posting this I'm just wait to see the defense that will be put up by a few saying how this TA is "not that bad" or some other lame excuse.

Quote from PSA CA talking to, who appeared to be, a fairly junior FO in the CLT crewroom the other day....
"We just need to get the airframes on property and we can figure the rest out later."
If you recognize this to be you....F*CK YOU.
