Street Captains at PSA?

Courtesy of L-AE ( envoy) if the TA is a NO vote. E-jets will get placed at PSA with a new flow program to mainline. They will offer any FO from other carriers ( envoy) a DEC position with a faster flow to mainline.

PSA MEC salivating the idea. Ask your rep.

MXFlight 01-24-2014 04:06 PM

Whatever. Give it a break. We all know you want it to pass.

bretthull 01-24-2014 04:13 PM

But according to you our CRJs are already going there. Now the E-Jets? Time to lay off the sauce.

astec 01-24-2014 04:33 PM

no kidding, you must be in the hard stuff this time of the night

newcfii 01-24-2014 04:54 PM

Nice flame bait! Not happening!

babs 01-24-2014 05:03 PM

How do I apply? (Sarcasm)

Tsuda 01-24-2014 05:18 PM

That info came from Bill S., Envoy's MEC Chairman. It is a threat that the company is using. The message was conveyed at the union meeting in DFW crew room. And by the way, it sounds like the AIP will be voted down at the MEC level.

PSA pilots must be wetting themselves over this news. Hopefully management is smart enough to ask them for further concessions to secure the deal. They'll be all too willing I'm sure.

PilotJ3 01-24-2014 05:33 PM

Why does people get wet when they say the word "flow"??? Geeze, apply to the freaking airline!

It's getting old. It's a done deal what PSA did. I know you are a yes voter but you will come back blaming PSA. That's just how it works cause you won't be responsible.

Street Captains at PSA?

Yes it's true what RJ says, but that is only part of the story. There seems to be a lot of back peddling on the companies part. The AIP is not ready because apparently they keep trying to add things to help get them to the vote they want, but the problem is that they ****ed off the pilot group so much by saying we would be Comair II (their exact words) and also by not following our existing contract that we signed last year. They have lost a lot of faith and will have a hard time passing anything that looks remotely like a turd.

I really hope that AE votes all of this crap down... No matter what. We are all going to have to take our turn to vote things down if need be. I have already thanked Expressjet guys who jump seat on our flights for voting no... And I would love to do the same to Eagle. Don't believe the hype!!!!

It's only getting old to PSA pilots.

I've made it quite clear I'm a no voter, I just said I wasn't going to criticize the guys who voted yes.

With an ATP a requirement all pilots at PSA are eligible for upgrade. Why would we take street captains?

The theory is to entice current Eagle pilots to go there when they start dismantling the operation and delivering the 175s to PSA.

PilotJ3 01-27-2014 11:56 AM

I can bet you, that PSA YES voters won't be happy if someone else take their seat and flow.

They would feel the consequences of their Yes vote.

Not technically. You need 1000 hours sic 121 or 135 to upgrade.

Yep. He was happy to tell everyone the "new deal" was good for him and that's all he cared about. It preserved his pay (or so he thinks) as opposed to seeing it falter to 12-year scale, but now that it may be on the rocks, he's gone to panic mode. He believes he may indeed get to "ride this thing into the ground".

He'll die of a heart attack before that happens. Try not to shed a tear, it's just karma in action.

Wow, Bill said it 500 times it's what the company is going to threat if we tell them where to stick it (we better tell them that). That was some real deep info you gave, almost like you got word from an inside source. You forgot to say the part where he said "the company will come back to us most likely and say "we were close lets make a deal". But why say that, then you would have to spill that it was not company insider that told you.
