Ha! Keep telling yourself that. Just by you saying it's understandable tells me that you are aware that what PSA pilots did was self-centered and wrong.

No, I simply see the story from both sides. You should try it.

What's pathetic is how little others think of your pilot group.

The exact same could be said about Eagle. Eagle doesn't have the best reputation among regionals. This is not my opinion at all btw, just just what I kept hearing from others in previous operator.

Of course I honestly still feel this way, why wouldn't I? I can assure you most all envoy pilots, current and former, feel this way too.

Nothing changes the fact that they voted for a concessionary contract when they said they wouldn't, thereby putting a halt to any sort of leverage and momentum the regional pilots had going forward. So yes, they made their bed and now I can only hope that they have to sleep in it a lot longer then planned.

You are an absolute fool if you think we ever had any leverage or "momentum."

If you STILL cannot see this as fact then this conversation is not worth continuing.

How many acft did PSA have at the time of our vote? How many acft did AAG transfer away from Eagle at the drop of a hat?

You're 100% right, this conversation is not worth continuing. Go back to your circle jerk party where the only ones who don't see what PSA did as messed up are PSA pilots. And AAG did not transfer away aircraft at the drop of a hat, it was after repeated attempts at concessions in a time of record growth. If you cannot see the leverage that the industry had, then you're an idiot. All that leverage hindered on the different pilot groups not undercutting each other (which strangely enough, PSA agreed to but did not go through with.)

And please...don't fool yourself into thinking that nobody knows who PSA is or what you did. You're only doing a disservice to those who are new to the industry with a scarlet letter now on their resume.

Gotta go fly my shiny CRJ, don't worry I'm keeping the seat nice and warm for you.

Respect for my peers

I am a PSA pilot, I come to work do the best job I can and have nothing to be ashamed of. I greet my peers with respect and enjoy providing the passengers and any jumpseater/non-reving pilot no matter the airline a safe flight to their destination. I respect the opinions of my peers, however I refuse to consider myself an outcast because I took a job. Some may call me a sell out, to those, I probably can't change their minds. I'm feeding my family on 85% less than the last place paid me, they are the ones that count in my life. I can't satisfy everyone, but rest assure everyone that occupies a seat on one of my flights will get the best I can do. I hope to see everyone in the regionals in a mainline seat SHORTLY!

What kind of correspondence should I expect from PSA? I applied on the 28th last month and havent heard anything from them. If they do not want to interview me will they tell me, or will I just not hear anything from them? I would expect at least a "thanks but no thanks" email. It has been 8 business days (excluding good friday last week.) Im just wondering if I should be concerned or not.

Don't be to concerned, they are running at full bore.....they will get you in. These are some of the growing pains. You could call the corp office as just a "hello and checking if anything else is needed" to start the conversation. My .02 cents.

I'm not really understanding why you think regionals had leverage.

Mainline making profits does not give us leverage.

"No one can staff" has been proven to be 100% false.

Where exactly did our leverage come from? I especially am interested in where leverage comes from at a wholly owned regional.

If we had said no the acft would've gone to Mesa....again. After what has happened at Eagle how can you think that AAG didn't have the capacity to put the acft wherever they wanted?
